In lesson three, Hallie taught us about some rules of composition. For our assignment we
are to post some examples of these rules. Here are my tries.
Know your subject.
Don't cut people off at the joints.
Rule of thirds.
Uncluttered background.
Use a different viewpoint. Also use lines
to draw interest.
Fill the frame. (My sweet 82 yr. old dad)
Show details. Who doesn't love baby feet?

I love that picture of the swing - so peaceful. You did a wonderful job on assignment 3! Now if only I could get motivated to do it!
Thanks Elaine! I'll be looking for your post soon. I'm sure you'll do great.
You have some awesome pictures
I cant decide my favorite. Either the bird the swing or dad
These are great ... I especially love the one that says "relax" over the baby's crib :)
Thanks Heather! Actually, the relax sign is on top of the upstairs railing of a beach house.
Hi Beth. Thanks for your comment on our blog a ways back. I am so sorry I haven't responded back yet, but I do appreciate your kind words. You have some great photos here! :) Sounds like a fun class.
