What is this Bird?

I realize this is not a very good quality picture. However, I wanted to post it to see if any one out there knows what type of bird this is. I spotted this funny looking bird and several of his family members one day at our feeder and then have never seen it again. If any one knows what this bird is I would appriciate the info.

I believe that it is a Cardinal with a parasite problem. From my vast ornithological knowledge, he will eventually loose all of his feathers. But, he will survive this parsitic threat and grow new feathers. In the mean time, he looks like the oldest bird on the block. :)

Hey Beth, I showed Clif's dad and he said that Cardinals actually molt at this time of the year. Maybe that is what is happening here.

Thanks Leigh Ann. I hope that is all that is wrong with him. I put this on another website, and got a reply with the website I posted above. The article basically says what Naomi said. Evidently a lot of peolple have been asking about it this year.
