The online photography class I began last year has started
up again. Here is my assignment 4. Each picture has a smaller
aperture and shows how the DOF deepens with each change.

I was going to do the same:)
Looks good - I think its interesting that even at f/4 you focal plane is still to shallow for even just John 3:16 to be in focus. I exepected that at that point the whole page would be in focus.
Mrs. Bee, you certainly still may. This idea, I'm sure, is not original with me. I look forward to seeing your results posted!
Nathaniel,
I thought it was an interesting exercise as well. I have to much to learn:)
Mrs. Simmons, you know SO much more than I do! I feel like I don't even know how to use my camera (I guess it doesn't help that I can't find the book for it...). I wish I could just sit and learn from you.
I would love for you to hang out and take pictures with me. I know its hard with your little ones. I can give you two on line sites that are free and very helpful if you want. I am trying to set up a make shift studio in the basement. Maybe you'd let me practice on your babies sometime:)
Oh, please would you practice with my babies? I do have to say they make some pretty good photographic subjects! :) I would love it if you'd tell me those websites! I really want to get better with the camera...
