A Beautiful Sunday

Sunday's weather was like a good dose of medicine for the soul.  Steve and I enjoyed the sunny 60 degree weather by visiting a local park and then going down to Camp Eagle, our church's camp.

This is a bridge I hope to use in some upcoming photo shoots.  However, it is so muddy that it will be awhile before it is useable.

I tried to get a close focus on this moss growing beside the creek. I was using my 50mm lens instead of my macro. When I downloaded to my computer, there was all this crazy bokeh from the water. Kind of abstract looking but I think it's fun.

We even found green ferns growning on the side of this hill!

The water in the lagoon at Camp Eagle was this interesting turquoise color. I'm not sure why but it was pretty.

That bridge is incredible! What a fun place for a shoot, and I adore that bokeh in the moss shot. That water is incredible too!

Sounds like you had a beautiful day, those are so refreshing, especially after a dreary cold winter.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful day, I really enjoyed looking.

These are great photos! I love your perspective in them. And Johnna is right, the colors are great.

I love the moss and creek bokeh!

Spring and good weather is such a renewing feeling!

Very nice - what a lovely location...the bridge will be a great spot. What a fun find to have all the beautiful bokeh appear - almost as good as getting the film developed. Beautiful - enjoy that sun.
