Some Macro Fun

I haven't been using my macro lens very much lately. Maybe because I've been inside all winter. But I took it outside yesterday and had fun playing around with it. I found out that I need a LOT of practice with taking real macros. Here are a few images that I kind of like. I hope by the end of the summer I'll be posting some really cool macros. All three of these images are photos of weeds. Weeds are actually quite pretty when you look closely:)

I got caught by some friends laying flat on my stomach to take this one:) I'm sure it wasn't a pretty sight!

This is what I called a moss growing between bricks in a walk. I don't know if it really is moss but I know what it looks like really close up now:)

And one more that is not a weed. I wish I could find out what this tree is. These are really tiny pinkish blooms with red leaves. Anybody know? It's not a cherry tree.

Very - it's amazing what the camera can capture that you can't hardly even see with your own eyes - especially now that my eyes are getting a bit older. Macro is on my list of wishes. There are very fun and beautiful.
