2013 Announcement

It's hard to believe another year is about to come to an end.  Oh my!  Thank you to all my wonderful clients who have made it a wonderful year!  After struggling with this for quite a while, I have made a difficult decision for Beth Simmons Photography.  I have decided not to take on any sessions for 2013.  My father and step mother are aging and their health is declining.  I want to be available to care for them and spend time with them at this time in their lives.  I don't plan to give up this blog for now.  I hope to post some personal photography and maybe even document some time spent with my dad.  So for now I will not be scheduling sessions.  If my family situation should change, I may find I am able to schedule an occasional newborn :)

I want to sincerely thank all of my wonderful clients who I now consider my friends, for making my job so rewarding and fun.  I will continue to enjoy watching your little ones grow!  I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year!

Sisters S and O

I got to spend a morning with these two beauties just before Thanksgiving.  We were mostly celebrating S turning one year old but we were able to get several photos of two year old O as well.  And we were even fortunate enough to get a couple of them together:)  Anyone who has a one and two year old knows that doesn't happen very often!  Enjoy.

Sisters - sneak peek

I got to meet sweet one year old S and her two yr old sister O today.  We were mostly celebrating S turning one but climbing in a crate with her sister was way to tempting for O!  Here's a sneak peek of the excitement from our morning :)

Five Day Old Baby "I"

Sweet baby "I" spent the day with me when he was just 5 days old!   What a handsome boy he is!     And he was a great sleeper too :)            His Nana helped me out with the whole session and that was so much fun.   He parents brought his 3 yr. old twin brother and sister by for part of the time too.  They love their new brother but it's really hard to sit still for photos when you are three :)  Enjoy some newborn sweetness.  

The Beautiful B Family

We certainly had a good time with this sweet family during their session.  We started in the studio for a few portraits and then headed outside to a park for some real fun.  The kids enjoyed the wide open spaces even though it was a bit on the cold side.  This brother and sister are the best of friends and it shows!  So sweet.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your family for a couple of hours.
